Lalika was happy to be engaged, but there was a serious problem. Her future in-laws would not allow her to marry their son unless she could get rid of her limp.

Since her childhood in an orphanage, Lalika had had a problem with her hip which caused one leg to be shorter than the other, causing her to limp. This condition caused her much pain, and she struggled to stand all day to work as a beautician.

In desperation, she came to Herbertpur Christian Hospital. The surgeons were able to replace her damaged hip, and once she healed, her limp was gone. The best part was that the surgery was free for Lalika since she was able to take part in the government’s healthcare plan.
